Mark your calendars – ANAC convention & OABA summer conference
ANAC 2010 convention & annual general meeting to be co-hosted with OABA’s summer conference, June 13-15
This year, ANAC’s convention and annual general meeting will be held in conjunction with the Ontario Agri Business Association’s summer conference, at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario from Sunday, June 13 to Tuesday, June 15. Plans have now been finalized for this event, which will offer delegates an outstanding program of business and leisure activities at a world class resort in the heart of Ontario’s cottage country.

Resolution of Major Problems with Compliance Verification System (CVS)
The CVS “dialogue and resolution” process with CFIA has now concluded. There were five issues considered by the industry to be particularly problematic, and these were under discussion between ANAC and CFIA throughout the summer and fall of 2009. The resolution now in place deals with the major problems identified in ANAC’s submissions to CFIA following the introduction of the CVS program in April 2009.
